Price for 2K2 Max went up in Canada

The price for a fully loaded SE 6spd list was $36,900cdn
Now $37,200cdn
Small text at the bottom probably explains it.

Wow in US$ that price is still amazingly low.

And the HLSD is std. w/ 6 speed, no wonder its taking so long for some of us in the US to get ours, they are all going to Canada!

But it looks like you can't get the majestic blue?

Phat,

It's been that way since the second week of Jan. The dealer called me just to say he was right about the price going up (I told him that Nissan would'nt do such a thing ).

Actually that's really smart on Nissan marketing's part. You've got a car that wont sell without a rebate. Most people will go to Edmunds and decide how much below invoice they want the car for. But if invoice has slid up 200-400 that's more money in their pockets (mfg + dealer). Consumer says dang I got $5400 off list, that's great! But the list went up 2-4 bills.....Edmunds should get a fraud tracker alert in addition to the TMV. I am so done with the 5th gen until Nissan can prove they can put something better out.

I think that there is alot of taxing that you have to pay. I wanna say that last time I had a delivery come in at the place I work. The guy said that someone bought a car in Canada, and ended up paying 5 grand for taxes b/c it was purchased out of country. Don't know how true this is.
