Preparing to be in a car show

I am planning on being in a car show on the 2nd of March and was just wondering what preparations I should make? Should I worry about people messing with my car?

Is your car gonna be inside a fence of some sort or the impenetrable velvet rope?

I would wax it with like 20 coats of wax, until your hands turn white to blind spectators

Re: Preparing to be in a car show

If it's just a small local show, don't worry about anything. Not that many people will be there, and you'll be near your car the whole time. Just spend a lot of time detailing it. It's the larger shows where it gets annoying. AT the NOPI Nationals last year, my car was in my company's booth, and I was sitting right there, and yet people kept messing with it. This big fat guy jumped into my Corbeau's, he must have been 300+ lbs. The this little kid jumps into my car holding a coke and just starts drinking it. Then all these guys with ugly girlfriends got their girls to stand up against my car so they could take pics. Every 10 minutes I had to clean the fingerprints off. And some of my friends have had little things stolen, like oil caps, accessories, etc.

That would really **** me off to watch people do that kind of crap to my car. Good luck in your car show! Take Care

People who go to a show and steal from other car owners is ridiculous. I mean they are into the same hobby and what not but yet they still have to knock each other down.
