changing tranny fluid & spark plugs

I have 31,000+change miles on my 98 max now (i bought it with a little over 29,000). I noticed many people saying its good to change auto tranny fluid at 30,000 miles and i was wondering where i should go to do this? i've been to jiffy lube for my honduh and it seemed fine, but many people say jiffy lube and pepboys is no good. also, do you think the dealer changed spark plugs already because they said they changed the brake pads already when i bought the car - is there any way to tell if they changed the spark plugs? thanks.

As with most preventative maintenance, the best way to do it yourself. Pepboys, Jiffy Lube and other quicklube places aren't the best places but they usually do an okay job, though there are horror stories.

The odds of the dealer changing your plugs are slim to none. The interval on the platinum tipped NGK's from the factory are 60K, and unless you're experiencing any driveability problems relating to the igntion system, they should be fine until that interval. They'll certainly last longer than 30K anyway.
