Yay just had an accident :) (Need advice)

Basically my skirt is damamged I hit a side rail and the front right side is damaged (totally my fault being a **** in some back roads). I do not think there is any frame damage so it should be pretty easy to just replace the front skirt right?

Anyone have any advice on what skirt to get? I was thinking something agressive or maybe just replace it with an OEM skirt.

One thing though is I do not think the cops need to know about this right? I was kinda lucky seeing as one just pulled past me 20 secs after I turned around. I'm pretty sure the person going the other way told them lol!

Anyway I am not going to bother claiming it on insurrance as
A) my deductable is probably the cost of the skirt + some work.
B) my insurance rates will increase

So what I really really need is some clear hard input for a Front Skirt!

Pictures of what the skirt looks like would be good I'm really looking to save the cost of painting so something that comes in the Nissan Bottle green color 95 Maxima.

In any case it was a lesson to remember at least no one was hurt physically.

BTW should I drive this car around ie can the cops stop me and ask me what happened to the car?

Regards to the accident I was not that shaken up I knew something like this was going to happen to me anyday just glad it happend sooner than later. One of the girls in my car was/is a bit shaken up as the damn thing only happened like 20 minutes ago. I am pretty sure she will be mad with for quite a while (like a year ) Thats the only thing I am truly sorry about.

In any case it was a lesson to remember at least no one was hurt physically.

I think the girl's neck may start to hurt....

Looking at the Stillen body kit. The bumper needs to be replaced as well I was wondering if most body kits come with a replacement bumper as well? If not where can I get one.

Another thing that concers me is that I will have to paint the lip/skirt/bumper. Is there anyway I can do it effectively while maintaining the correct tone?

Re-Painting the car will be fairly expensive (at least $800?) for a dcent paint job?

you have to pay for the tree for one, and then you have to pay for all of the olives that the tree would have produced in its lifetime, damage to others property is why they would care, thats all.

i am not clear on what you did to wreck though, please explain.

Never seen a beaten up front before. As for why? Back where I used to live you needed stupid things like police reports if you wanted to get your car fixed. They would stop you if it was not fixed etc...

I just wrecked a barrier its pretty obvious that someone hit there though I'm not going to fess up to it any time soon

Now back to the topic on hand about the body kit......

I've been reading up and it seems that the only real kit is the Stillen kit since the Soronas seem to crack easily + are a pain to install and shadows body kit is at least another month away.

So essentially where do I get the Stillen kit for cheap?

The tocuh up paint would work fine if you could figure out a way to spray it on. . . Mine, which is the color he is describing and I assume your color also, when I put touch up pain on didn't match at all. . . I was told it is because it was brushed on and not sprayed.

As for a kit, I think the only on for a Maxima where they replace the front bumper entirely is the Sarona Designs kit. The entire kit can be bought through custommaxima.com for $1100 + shipping and then painting, and there are pictures also on the site.

Thanks for the info. While I really enjoy the look of the Sorona I am worried about its installation + cracking. I think I shall just stick with the more common Stillen unless someone can convince me otherwise

Sorry I'm a bit of a nut sometimes basically it just gave me the excuse of buying the body kit. I was essentially on the edge about where I should leave my car a minima or pimp it out my mind was literally changing every 2 hours about what to do. Not that I did not want to do anything I just did not want to waste any money on my car till I paid of my CCS (about 3 months away from doing that). Plus a nice savings account would have been nice for travelling etc.

I'll just get the body kit for now and in about 4 months get some nice 18"s and a decent stereo system with awesome highs and a single 12" sub
