this may sound like a stupid question, and it probably is one, but im not too familiar with the carbon fiber hoods, could u paint a cf hood to match ur body color? and also, how much weight do u save when going with a cf hood over the normal stock hood?
Thanks
Tom

That was what i was thinking too
Maxima hoods are huge and i don't think it'll look good with all that carbon fiber

yea im the same way, i dont really care for the look of the carbon fiber hoods, the only reason i would purchase one is if there is a significant weight difference between the stock hood and the cf hood, which hopefully someone will know the answer to that?

and the CF is 5-10 pounds. guesses, nothing more but i think that is pretty accurate as i have left myself 20 pounds as a margin of error. ask sx7r his hood seemed really light.

k, well if i can get the cf hood painted(???) then that is a pretty good weight reduction so ill prob. get one; i wonder though how strong and durable they r, if a friend of mine carelessly sits on the cf hood on my car for instance, is it gonna dent or break??

I thought the car in his sig was his as well. Most people don't put other people's cars in their sig, especially slow ugly ones with gay graphics and stupid *** wings. That car is so frickin' lame I can't even express my feelings about it...

G'head, someone say something about my intelligence I dare you...

i like it
but after reading a bit i found out that the CF hoods that are out for the max now cant handle speed they rattle and you have to shave something down to remove it.

the F&F max in my sig is then followed by a picture of altezzas and a bowl of rice is anyone missing something
