They are OEM replacements...

Not really a performance strut and cannot handle a big drop. RedMax95 has them with Sprints though.

For the price, you can't beat them. I running GR-2s and H&Rs and am very satisfied. H&Rs offer a modest drop but BenBlanco has GR-2s and Intrax and he's also very happy.

Most people who say that the GR-2s are just a "stock replacement" have no experience with them, so make sure you do your research.

I gotta disagree. I have GR-2s and I have been lowered more than two inches on very stiff ground controls for more than 25K miles. The shocks still are working great, I've checked the bump and rebound of them about 5k miles ago, still good. I had GR2s on my civic as well, which had even stiffer springs than my Maxima. They worked great on there as well.

BTW thats only $58 for the rear ones. The fronts are $72.

KYB GR-2 struts are a fine replacement strut. But they do perform quite well too.

Especially, the damping in the rear is much firmer as compared to the stock struts... So they really help to balance out the handling.

I am using stock SE springs.

The GR-2s are well worth the money...
