afer trying to sell it for month I caved and let it go for $1800 plus a set of 17" stock rims and tires that came off a guys stratus that I sold rims to. The guy got a steal in my opinion, the car had a brand new paint job (with lexus diamond pearl paint $2500 right there) 110k, but what can I say I needed the money and wanted to get rid of it.

now I have $1800 which $500 is going towards tranny work im having done this weekend, and the rest should go to other expenses but im stupid so Im upgrading my suspension. Im going with Eibachs and Tokicos, through my supplier I can get the springs for $200 struts for about $260~$280 .So around $500 and what ever it is to install.
I also want to get some tints which will run me about $150 and an alarm ( I know but its been in the garage ever since)which will be about $100

also I have a question:
The guy that bought the car from me looked under the oil cap and there was like this white grease. It was really wierd, any ideas? (the car has been sitting for a while)

This is my first post, been on here a while just reading.

anyway I have seen that before and it is caused by water mixing with the oil, probably condensation under the oil cap nothing major like alot of water or anything.

 

I was typing an IM and got all F*ed up and then my math got all messed up, but its fixed now.

dont blame you,these 10 or so year old cars are cool and all but i wanna get a car still under factory warranty...seen a nice 2k 5spd SE everything but 17"s for with 59k for $14999

 

dont get me wrong I love the styling of the 3rd gens over any other year max but cant find any with low miles, and like you said I want a car under warenty but with 0 miles

Actually, it was for Mary Beth... she needs an auto, less to have to concentrate on. It's a wonder she can cross the street without getting hit, let alone cruise down the road shifting gears!!!
