Funny thing happened to me today... :)
I was over at Cartoys to have my basslink installed. The way the shop is set-up is there's this gigantic piece of glass wall so you can see the installers do their stuff.
There was this couple... probably in their mid-20's looking at their car being serviced (a pair of 12" RF subs installed).
Anyway, as my car entered the installation area the guy just yelled out "eeewww, those are some sh*tty lights*, then starts bashing my poor max
saying a lot of stuff about rice, stupid HID and all that; to top it off his last comment to his wife was "that's neeeesan for ya".
I was right beside them while he was saying this, i stayed cool and acted like i didn't notice. I then approached the installer who just drove my car to the area and the woman (couple) then started telling her hubby that i was the owner of the car and that i probably heard him bash it and to keep his "f*cking mouth shut".
The guy then started saying, "oh i didn't mean to bash, blah blah...".
So long story short, i was rather amused. Not to say it's a bad car but honestly i didn't feel as bad given he drove a bright red Ford Focus.
All in all it was rather insulting but i think i got the last laugh.

Don't let him butt-hurt you Mike...he does not HAVE to like it...right? That is the joy of modding your car...you get to do what you like...if you modded his car...it would be a production in demolition...
When I first saw the car on MotorTrend, I almost puked 
Wizzamax, true. It's just that i was taken aback by his comments. If anything i've always gotten comments on how the Max looks (except a few neutrals on the fish-eye tails but never on the front fascia/lights).
