No more mods for my 2k2! Here is why....

Because I bought this 93' RX7 to feed my modding needs. Here is a pic, not very good but wanted to have something quick.

I was at the point where I wanted to push more power out of the max, but did not want to jeopardize the warranty, reliability, etc. I depend on the Max as my daily driver. I am still planning on hanging out on the org when I can. Luckily, the rx7forum.com crew is just as good as the org...almost. Later.

Yes the car was a one owner with a perfect interior, $2,500 stereo system (new), New tires (275/40 ZR CompT/A's in the back!) and some decent mods. You will definitely see me at the track! Let me know if you still need help with the intake?

Hey ehughes, I have a question. How does your Max rides with H&Rs on stock shocks? I am planning to install them on my 2002 Maxima and wanted to see if you had some feedback on how it rides and any problems you had with them on your Maxima??
Also do you have more pics of your Max with H&Rs?? I saw the one on cardomain site and it looked very nice.

Thanks.

Nice RX7. I too would love to get one but find it a bit too small. Supra is more of my size but have fun with your new ride

Eric, sweet ride you got there

I'm sure you know it already but JIC, make sure you cool that baby down... seems heat is the Rotary's biggest enemy.

I still have an old Import Tuner (i think that was it, forgot) magazine that had a project RX-7 featured. It's not as heavily modified as the one you already have though.

That RX is really great looking and the nice thing is they are rare, fast and very mod friendly. Great choice. Am anxious to see more pictures.
Bad choice of color on the Max though.

Don't worry about it, it won't apply to you as you have a manual tranny.

But if you must know, it's a Valve Body recalibration to make the auto shift crisper and firmer. Also lengthens the tranny's life.

Thanks. It ride good. Stiffer no doubt, but no bottoming out. Bumps can be harsh sometimes. But I love the handling and look. I'll try to post more pics soon.

Cisco..Good eye, yes they are Forgelines...and maybe for sale soon. The car has 89k with 2k on a rebuilt engine w/apex seals. They wanted $16,900 a drove it away for $15,700. Someone apparently broke into the car a couple of months ago and ripped up the dash to get the stereo, boost controller, T-timer, boost gage, etc. So, now the entire dash, shift boot, center console, head unit, tweeters, boost gauge and T-timer are brand new!

Soundmike..Thanks. Yes, heat is bad for the FD. Mine has a Greddy Turbo-timer and will soon have Redline water wetter. The twin oil coolers have bad fin damage. It will take some time to straighten them to make them work properly.

BottleFedMax..The supra is awesome! But the same year w/similar mods and condition would have been $20k+! Besides, the R1 is rare and handles/brakes better.
