yea well last night after i finished upgrading my suspension (OBX coilovers and Koni Yellows) i took a ride down to Staten Island to see my cousin on her birthday... everything is fine im lovin the suspension... i get there and stay tehre for a couple hours... well now its time to leave and i get in the car start it up and put it in reverse cause i gotta get out of the parking spot... well its in reverse but when i press the gas it is acting as if its in neutral... car revs but its not in gear... well i put it in neutral and rev the car and it pulls a little as if its in drive but with the parking brake on... same thing happends in park... in D the car goes forward but im parallel parked so i have no room to go forward... and 1 does not work and 2 works but also i got no room to see how well... so now i gotta go get towed to Nissan.... AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH this sux...

 

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I had the same exact thing happen to me 3 weeks ago and my dealer ordered me a factory rebuilt tranny.

they didnt give u a hard time about ur mods right?
my dealer is Bay Ridge Nissan... but if they wont cover it under warranty lets say for some reason i can go to any Nissan dealer right?

hehe thanks for the luck...

i just got back from my nissan dealer and they said they will change my transmission under warranty and it will be ready in 4-5 days... gonna suck to be without the car for that long but what can i do... atleast it will be good after that... and hopefully Don will have the VB core exchange program running soon for us 5th gens so that i will change out the VB when i get it back... next ill need a tranny cooler... and hopefully it should be fine after that...

 

Oh man that sucks, I know what your going through that happend to me 2 weeks ago, and got a new tranny. But I still feel it acting up. I cant wait until my car sells though
