Im looking to buy some 18's very soon. All of the places ive called tell me that only a 235/40/18 series will work on my car. Since i live in NY the roads are getting worse everyday. I was hoping to get a 235/45/18 on my car without hitting. I just wanted a lil more rubber on my rims to help smooth out the ride a lil. Keep in mind i have H&R springs, so im not slammed by no means, lol!

Anyone have a 45series on an 18 here on thier max??

Well guy, it really depends here. With using H&Rs, B&Gs, or Eibachs, then you MIGHT not rub, but you will just have to see if any one else here has done it. BTW, I have 17 inch 235/45, and the 45 are just too tall for me. So you might want to stick with the 40s. Later guy.

 

Some place near me will put on a tire of each size for you to test it out and see how it looks/feels. See if your local places can do the same for you to tell if it will fit.

still need some more feedback on this though

 

I have 225/50/17's on my maxima with intrax springs and kyb agx's and they fit fine, i also need the extra rubber for colorado, so i think that the 18's with 45 series might fit can't guarantee anything though.
