Electronic throttle and SES light
Electronic throttle and SES light
Driving yesterday I pull out onto a 50mph street and floor my 02 automagic to get up to speed. Do I get the 3.5 liter screaming to redline? No, I get 1800RPM and the SES light. I immediately pull over (at 15 mph) and shut it down. I start it up, SES light still on, and drive home.
I disconnected the battery overnight, and this morning the SES light was still on. However the second time I start it the SES light is off. Talk about a lawsuit waiting to happen, someone gets rearended when their car shuts off. End Rant.
