a mandrel bent pipe will sound the same as another mandrel bent. Aluminuzed sounds like aluminuzed, stainless like stainless.

I dont think a $tealin' stamp would make it sound like a v8

I have had a JWT pop-charger on my '99 for almost 2 years w/ stock exhaust. Last month I put a Warpspeed aluminized mandrel-bent Y on the car... and I swear to God, I can't hear the difference.

Yes, feels like it is easier to push/pull. Definately notice on highway while passing.
