Wind deflector recalled!?!?

My dealer in Canada, 401 Dixie Nissan, told me that the sunroof wind deflector has been recalled because they have a tendency to fly off. As a result I was not able to get one on my 2002. I know dealers like to make things up to sell cars, but Jeff has been honest from the beginning. Still... I've not heard anything about this.

Has anyone heard about this before?

So are the mounting brackets faulty? I haven't had a problem on the highway yet.
