NEW CF hood option

there's a guy here that'll make CF hoods as long as we get 5 people. I know there's at least that many that sent $ for the other one. I'm not trying to screw that deal, but here's this dude's story. it's 800 dollar molding fee + a hood to mold. then every hood is 300 after that. so we could absorbe the 800 into the fee of the hood. if we get 8 people it would be 400 bucks a hood. I was thinking, if there aren't enough people to get that other order through we could go through this guy. . . let me know what everyone wants to do. I just remember that not everyone came through on the other hood deal, so if it's falling through, here's a good alternative. if it worked out, just let me know, i'll delete this thread.

ok, here's some more info. . .
its large square carbon fiber.. 8 coats of polyuthane
he said it gets wet sanded and polished like 3 time...very glossy finish

it comes with a frame, but the center support has to be put on after you attach it to your car....he said because if the put it on right after they finish with it it might warp before it cures...so buy the time you get it in the mail its already cured...put it on your car check the fit..then add the center support

1 year warranty

Too many talkers. nobody with money. Happens with every group deal.

Actually I think the GD David C. set up is going through. Four or so of us newcomers sent in our money this week.

my deal

The hoods that I'm having made are virtually the same price but they are guaranteed against warpage and cracking. They are also from a reputable manufacturer. I'm not sure where you're having these made, but Fiber Images is the leading manufacturer of carbon fiber hoods right now. Iconoclast, if you want a hood please refer to my other carbon fiber hood posts. It will be $225 down and $225 plus shipping upon completio. It seems that there are a lot of serious people now but lets see the money guys.

Thanks,
David C.
