I replaced my stock SE wheels with 18" wheels and I sold my Stock wheels to my roomate (owns a 95 Max GXE) How ever now I realize that it would be nice to have some nice looking wheels for my ride during times when I don't want to risk damaging my 18" chrome wheels.

I'm trying to decide if I should buy 2002 17" SE wheels or 17" GLE wheels. Which wheel do yall think look better for the 2002 Max, GLE or SE?

plus I'm interested in buying a pa ir of 17" GLE wheels in good condition if anyones selling( WTB post in For/Sale forum).

 

Might want to take a look at the 17" "bronzed" wheels that shipped on the Anniversary Edition. They are the 17" '00-'01 SE wheels with a nice finish on them.

 

I personally like the SE wheels better. Could be a bit biased since I have an SE, but I don't really think so. I think that I just like the SE wheels better.

 

i actualy kinda like the more chiseled look on the 2k2 GLE wheels. kinda audi-like.

 

GLE's look much better to me, and I35 even better!

 

well, I agree, I have a 2K GLE and I love my five spokers. I just wish they were a 17" diameter

I would lloovvee to have the I35 wheel in chrome I saw a beige I35 w/sprt pack and chrome wheels and it looked ten times better than my Max w/18" wheels. One word decribes that car "CLEAN"!

 

I personally dig the GLE wheels! I'd swap in a heartbeat.

I like the GLE (brushed) vice SE wheels (glazed), just a better overall "appearance" IMHO. I think the SE rims would suite you better for performance although they do look D O P E on certain applications/set-ups like Sterling Mist, uhmm good.

Just get both SE on one side GLE on the other, j/k.
