Is there a misprint in the ESM for the 2K2 Maxima with respect to the oil capacity of the transaxle?

The 2K2 shop manual specifies transaxle oil capacity as 2.3 litres (4-7/8 US pints). This translates to roughly 2.5 quarts. I know the 4th and 5th-gen 5-speed trannys took about 4.5 quarts. Has anyone here with a 6-speed changed out their tranny fluid yet, and if so is this a misprint? It appears in several places in the shop manual consistently as "2.3 litres". Doesn't seem possible.

Me and DMB(Steve) both switched to redline nad we both used 2.3 quarts.

 

Wow. Then it sounds like the info is definitely NOT a misprint. Bummer, since I already bought 5 quarts of MT-90 !!!!!

thanks ewok, yup i ordered 5 quarts too and couldn't even finish teh 3rd one, i thought i did it wrong. hehe, it just takes less.
