Tire Questions

Would I be able to fit 225/60/15 tires on the stock '95 SE rims? Would they rub with at stock height or with a 2" Sprint drop?
What is the performance difference between the stock size and the wider tire?
Is it worth spending money for Z rated tires over V rated?

Sorry for a lot of questions but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam

I've heard good things about Dunlop SP Sport A2. Good handling, quiet, and $61/each at tirerack.com. I think Discount Tire has them for around $70/each.

Hell yea, you heard right

I have these things and I love them.. They grip very very well, rain and dry, i drive with confidence in the rain, knowing i can even do some hard driving and cornering and they will be fine. In the dry, forget it.. I don't worry about my tires slipping, I worry about the whole car flipping over, because the tires stay glued.

To answer the question. I think 225s will definately fit. The stock 15" 95 SE rim is 6.5 inches wide. The 97-99 16" SE rim is also 6.5" wide. People fit 225s on them all the time, no problems... Go for it.. it will probably give you more traction around corners and stuff.. no big deal.
