How To Jack-Up Car w/ Drop and/or Body Kit?

I'm just wondering how do you jack the car up when you have it lowered or you have a body kit?

I'll be lowering my car soon with GCs and I'm putting a Stillen kit on it. In the future, I'll be adding a Y-pipe and RT Cat and I'm wondering how I'm going to jack the car up to install those parts.

...or if I get a flat tire or something on the highway.

I did search, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks,
-Nick

well... just having the car lowered really did not change anything.. but a body kit might..

i cant fit any jack except for a scissor jack under my car.. that's how low it is. i have to scissor jack it up until i can get the hyrdrolic jack under it.

anytime i got to midas or nissan or any service place that have to drive my car up on block of wood to get it up on a lift.. it's fun.

Body kit or lowering your car in no way will interfere with even the stock jack! I have a kit and a 2" drop.(sig does not reflect this yet) Even with CG's on the lowest setting and a kit, will work. Peace!

I had to use my hand to lift up the front lip to fit my old jack. This is the jack I have now.

on my car I setup 3 bricks in front of each tire, drive the car onto the bricks and then use my hydro jack to get it up....without the bricks I can't even get the jack back far enough under the crossmemeber to safely lift the car. but that jack that Tony has is a good idea....I might look into that! but the scissor jack still works fine and I'm lowered on Sprints!

A stock jack will fit under anything. But with a body kit and lowering hydraulic jacks will be tough. I have to really watch my sideskirts when i jack up the car.

or you can drive up on wood blocks. when dropping the car back down, you have to remember to use to the stock jack again or the floor jack gets stuck

Those jack are nice! I going to try to get one. Have you had any problems at all with it?

So I can use the OEM jack with the drop and kit and still be fine? I'm worried about putting a hole in the sideskirt or something.

Also, when I went to put the GReddy on my car, the guys drove my car on this thing that lifted the car up from the sides (where the side skirts will be soon), and not by the wheels. If I go back there to get the Y-pipe and Cat put on, will it damage my side skirts?

Thanks,
-Nick
