stoopid kill

I usually wouldn't get into something like this, but it was too funny. I was at a light where two lanes turn left onto an onramp. The guy next to me was in a Tercel. The light changed and I took off like at 1/3 throttle, and I heard the engine next to me winding out as hard as it could go. I'm like "Whaaaat?!!" Anyway, the lanes converge, so I just put my foot down and the Tercel recedes in my rear view mirror like the background stars in Star Trek when they go to warp speed. The guy is history ... so I'm getting off at the next exit, about 1/2 mile up the road, and decelerating to about 50 when here comes the Tercel finally hitting 70, his foot still flat to the floor, and he hits his hazards as he passes me while I'm getting off! Dumb, but ballsy.

Atleast you don't have to worry about accord coupes terrozing the neighbor while redlighting and then flashing his hazards..
And then there are those ricers that beat u off the launch and flash imediately afterwards while they aren't even upto 25mph..

There was some throtle happy 80's civic hatch back infront of me today. It was raining hard outside and I could not keep up with him, LOL. My tires would just peel out if I went more then half throtle and he just straight took off.

I live near the Richmond Hell's Angel's headquarters; lots of loud hotrod Harleys around. Kinda takes care of the ricers, cause those boys don't mess around!

He's probably over at www.tercel.org boasting about how he killed a Maxima. You just made somebody's day. His ego may be all pumped, but you know the truth...

Tercel owners

I had a similar kill once when I had my Accord V6. After I "killed" him he was tailgating me like mad (which I hate) so I buried it at the base of this long uphill and left him in the dust and never saw him again!

There's a Tercel in my neighborhood with a whale tale spoiler and I saw another one last week with a full front/side/rear underbody kit. hehe. Idiots.
