Let the mods begin!

I'm new to the site and just wanted to list the mods I've got in the works as of right now.

I bought my 99 SE auto in November. If not for this site I would have thought I got screwed because the transmission isn't as smooth as I remeber in the older 91 Maxima that I used to have way back in 97.

On to what I'm doing.

Suspension: KYB AGX struts with Progress Springs. Not much said about these springs but their site gives many good testemonials. What the hell. They were only $130 at PMP designs on special right now.

Exterior: Clear corners, and 2002 Maxima 17" rims. These may be real heavy but somewhere on this site, I think Calsonic shows them on his car and they look sharp.(Red/Clear rear brake lights SOON!)

Interior: Brushed Aluminum Dash kit, Levoc Auto stick, and E-Brake handle.

I plan on getting the Front strut and rear sway real soon also! I love a car that handles.

I just got my Tax return in and I am spending the whole thing on the car. I can't wait to start the power modifications! I don't race but I got the Mod bug on a 95 VW Golf and now I can't stop!!! got rid of that for this baby. I am so glad to be back in a Max!

I will post pictures of what the springs did to my car and give my input on how they feel.

Thanks for the the welcome!

The levoc may not be perfect but, I think what is in there right now looks like a grey plastic disformed orange stuck on top of a tooth pick. Do you have any other options?

Also is there a place to get a black E-brake handle that would match a chrome and black Auto ***? I don't want to mix and match the style and I'm not a big fan of Carbon fiber.

I think the stuff on CustomMaxima doesn't have a protective coat on it but, it does look sharp as hell. I wanted mine to look a little more stock. I could be in for some sadness when it comes in though. I guess we shall see.

As for the scraping, I don't have the stillen kit you have attached to the front. HOPEFULLY LATER!!!!!!

You can get the shifter and e-brake handle from custommaxima.com He has carbonfiber or wood matching handles.

If you plan on adding any performance stuff to your car start with an intake and then a Y pipe. Just a tip.
