lol good ol' newbie...welcome to this board. It just warms my heart to see that someone here actually did exactly what I did when i first came...asked common questions that could be easily answered through the 'search' engine...but i don't know THAT Much about maxima's but i do know about these things...and I'll be more than happy to answer these questions....

Warspeed CAI is the best CAI to get because it's just as good as the other best CAI (PR CAI) Performance RAcing CAI but at a fraction of the price due to a different filter (K&N filter compared to PR's Monster FOAM filter)...a lot of people prefer K&N and I've heard nothing about the best about them...in fact, if you go to the group deals section of this board, you'll see that me and a few other guys (about 15-20) are trying to get a group deal going where we can get the Warspeed CAI for less than it's regular price of 155....check it out and if you down, let us know there...

Warspeed y-pipe, I'm also bout to get this too but it's also supposed to be like the best out there...best price and does the same thing as any other y-pipe...but most go for the aluminum cheaper warspeed y-pipe cause it still has a long warranty although, not the strongest metal...but i'll be getting aluminum when the time comes....these two i would definitely recommend because i'm getting them myself...you'll get these exact same answers from everyone else here that posts....dam, it feels so good to finally be able to tell someone what i know instead of asking the questions myself

The WSP products are among the best you can get. Lately, most people seem to be having fewer problems with fit and noise with there Y-pipes than other (more expensive) brands. One thing though, WSP does not make Y-pipes from aluminum. The less expensive ones are ALUMINIZED. That is, they are steel that is coated with aluminum to prevent rust. I doubt the aluminized Y-pipe is weaker than the stainless Y-pipe but the stainless tubing is more expensive and harder to work with, thus the higher price. Any aftermarket Y-pipe will work better than stock but stick to the mandrel bent ones because they do flow better than pressure bent ones.

I've seen Warpspeed's non-mandrel bent y-pipe and you can hardly tell its non-mandrel. The bends are smooth and I could barely tell between the two. Either way you go it's going to flow very well.
