Just Installed PIAA Xtreme Whites *PICS*

Its nice to see that the yellowish tint is gone, but it didn't match as well as I had hoped.

The headlights are very pure white with very little blue tint. But, the fogs have a good bit of blue tint compared to the heads, and the clearance lamps next to the headlights are still that very dull light like stock.

I have no matching lights! Any suggestions?

Here's what it looks like now:

They are Xtreme Whites...the Headlights Burn at: 120/95w, and the Fogs are at: 110w, and the Corners are at a measely: 6w.

SOme advice,
Put a superwhite bulb in your corner light to get rid of tht nasty yellow and rewire your parking lights. I think it changes it from 6v to like 27v. Matches much better.

be careful with the fogs.. i put 100 watt Naxos bulbs in there, and one of the fogs cracked like the next day from the heat.. never doing that again..

Oh my goodness...I just put in these new "cool blue" bulbs in place of the amber and they look a million times better. They match the fogs real well. Now I just need to rewire the corners and the Xtreme White bulbs in there are supposed to be light blue at the higher wattage so everything will match except for the very clean white headlights which is what I want!

Here's an updated pic:

Use Piaa SW fogs and then you will have a matched set. . .

And yes I know the corners don't match, and I don't wish to rewire them as I don't want the blue color it produces.

What kind of bulbs are the blue ones in the sidemarkers? You said "Cool Blues", but what brand are they?

Thanks,
-Nick

No, I like the brighter Xtreme white fogs, plus they match my new sidemarkers which look pimp Thanks for the suggestion though.

right now, your corner light is running on one filiment, rewireing it will make it run on 2 filiments making it 2x brighter

Too Bad they don't make PIAA Super Plasmas in 9004. The H1/H4's are off the hook.

I bought a set of the super plasmas for my ex gf when I was dating her. Those bulbs are sweet, gave off a really nice purplish color.

Man, hate to say it, but let us know when you get pulled over for those sidemarker bulbs. The more power to ya if you don't, but I'd keep an eye out for Christmas trees in my rearview mirror if I were you. . .

White in the sidemarker lense is pushing it. White with a blue tint is begging for trouble.

Actually they all stock wattage. I have the same bulbs, and if you read the package it says they ACT like a higher wattage bulb.

Look for yourself
