225/50 or 235/45

Anyone upgrade from 225/50's to 235/45's? Is there a big difference in handling or ride?

the big differrence is in SELECTION check out http://www.tires.com

But be aware . . .

That 235/45R17 tires are OUT OF SPEC for the stock SE 7"-wide rims. No tire manufacturer will honor their warranty if you run tires that are not in spec for your rims. In addition, your insurance company may not honor their policy if you're involved in a tire-failure-related accident.

Have fun!

that's good to know. I was kind of leaning toward the 235/45s so it would bulge a little and protect the rims from road rash... but not at the expense of getting screwed over later!
