How do you take off door panels?
Re: How do you take off door panels?
Did you try prying it from that hole/slot at the bottom of the panel? If so try it.
I'd also recommend you get that prying tool (looks like a fork with a large curved head) as it makes it a lot easier and you don't risk the chance of breaking any of the plastic snap-holders.
If i remember correctly there's 3 snap holders on the door... forgot the exact locations. Try searching around the board, i remember someone posting a scanned Crutchfield installation sheet.

Instructions
There's a screw in the door cup and a screw at the far inside part of the door nearest to the hinge. You also need to remove the trim plastic around the door handle. After that, pull up on the door from the handhold at the bottom of the door. If you want the Crutchfield instructions that show you how to remove the panel, email me with your email address and I'll send them to you tonight.
Re: Instructions
Hey Tan, you never got back to me on my last e-mail. I presume you don't want the Infinity's no more?

In his diagram, you only remove parts 1,2,4,5 for the front doors and
8,9 on the rear doors. Pull out and then up on the door at points 7 and 12.

Re: Re: Instructions
Sorry man, had some things to take care of and I didn't check that account for a while. My setup is working ok and I'm really very, very tired of messing with it. Sorry to keep you hanging. Hopefully you can still sell the parts or keep them for spares.
Later,
Tan
