I'm pretty sure it's related to Fuel/Air Metering, MAF? I'll see if the 2001 has the same DTC number tonight, since I don't believe they change much.

If you scroll to the bottom of that web site it says that code 1102 is the Vehicle Speed Sensor.

I got revolution sensor, but that's not correct.

Yes, it might be related to the MAF sensor.

I know but that website is out-of-date.

According to the 2K1 FSM, DTC11xx is Fuel/Air Metering related. I just don't remember them all, so I'll look it up tonight.

DAMN!

It's a MFG defined DTC and it's not listed.

All I know is that it's a Manufacturer defined DTC not SAE defined(therefore ONLY Nissan knows what it is!) and that it's part of the Fuel and Air Metering system.

Any idea what caused this? If you find out what fixes it, PLEASE let me know, so I can start compiling a list of MFG defined DTC's.

Thanks.

I hope this doesn't have anything to do with the intake. I am betting it does though...

It seems weird that there are so many people having MAFS problems with aftermarket intakes.

And I couldn't find that exact code in my code manual for a 2000-2001, but I did help to eliminate some of the other ideas--

vehicle speed sensor - DTS 0500
Mass Air Flow - DTS 0100
vehicle speed sensor
(a/t revolution sensor) - DTS 0720

I wish I could help more, but I looked through pages and pages of information and came up with nothing on that number. Sorry!

It might have something to do with the intake.

Padsy...what happened? Did one day the check engine come on out of the blue? Were you messing with it when it happened? If the filter was over oiled, your ECU will NOT throw any codes...it will think everything is fine and just run like garbage.

I am curious to see what caused this.

Ok, then why don't you just take it to the dealer?

Did you modify something?

What did he do to the intake? I know that I have had a check engine light on for the last 2 years because of my intake, so if the car is running ok then you might just have to deal with it Padsy! Or at least I chose to!

He didn't do anything weird to the intake. It just went out by itself.

You had your stock intake on when this happened? I thought you had the FC intake at one point in time. After hearing all the blown MAFS with intakes...I am a little scared...not a cheap part.
