zaino-ed today, questions

well, i washed the car, then hit it with bug'n'tar remover, then washed again with zaino carwash.
after, i tried to clay the front bumper with some leftover carwash liquid as lube and i couldn't tell if i was doing it right. it says to 'rub' but the clay just slides over the surface not doing much. i applied some more pressure and it seemed an excessive amount of pressure to get any cleaning done. almost like the soap water was hindering me cuz with it there, it just slides right off the bumper. at the rate is was going there was no way i was going to finish the front bumper in 45 minutes let alone the whole car. so what gives? i figure it's gotta be user error, but i'm not sure what to do. any help is appreciated thanks. i plan on hitting it again tomorrow then with the z5 and a couple coats of z2.

btw, the zaino glass cleaner doesn't do jack for the itsy bitsy annoying-as-hell marks on my windshield.

I thought the same thing the first time I used a clay bar. You were doing it right, just let it slide around.

Do you have any pics of your AE body kit on your 02? I know the sides and rear fit but how did you get the front lip to work? Any info or pics would be appreciated.

well i'll try it again tomorrow and see what kind of cleaning i get. mostly i'm worried about the front bumper cuz it's taking a real beating, chips and discoloration.

i can take some pics for you tomorrow too. the front bolts on but you need to mark and drill into your front bumper to mount it securely. my body shop didn't do such a good job of it so i'll end up doing it again some day.

i Zaino'ed today too..30 degree temperature

1st time using the Zaino car wash- smells pretty good.
but it was freezing here in NJ/NYC, had to use a bucket of warm
water.

& the zaino glass polish sucks big time-useless stuff.
the tire/rubber treatment is pretty good, only bad thing is the desing of bottle (should have been a spray bottle or a brush type)
