Yesterday I started the car and drove off and went up town and then about 3 minutes into my trip I had to get on it hard and when I got to the red light it started jerking and then shut off I started it again and it shut off I pulled over and started it again and when I put it in drive it shut off again it would stay started until I put it in drive then it would shut off the rpms instantly dropped. So I sat there for about 10 mins with it running in park and then I tried it again and then it was fine for the rest of the day it was like I needed to let the car "warm-up" before I dive off.....

Then last night I was riding along at about 40mph and the car stated dipping from 40mph to 30 mph and the rpms where going up and down when I took my foot off the gas then it went on fine and then it started it again so I pulled over and waited a while….and then it ran fine….could it be bad gas or do I need to put some fuel system cleaner in my tank or what? I always get gas from one place in town and I use middle to super grade gas only...I don't what to do...??????

 

It could be the O2 sensor, had the same thing happen to me.

are you the person that emailed me? if so, it sounds like my car. coolant temp sensor time!! exactly what mine was doing. give it another few days to stall again, then id say its definate. goodluck.
