Does anyone have the new 3-point FSTB for their 2K2 yet? I was curious about some aspects of the new Stillen 3-point design, such as - is drilling into the firewall required? From the looks of the picture I have seen, I don't understand how this thing bolts up to the firewall without some sort of drilling.

I am also a little concerned about the general design - why go to a 3-point? I would think that the single solid bar would be simplest and would not require improvement. Distributing the load at an angle across the firewall seems very strange from a physics point of view....

Any thoughts?

 

I talked to Stillen on Friday and they said it won't be out for another week or two.
