Does this sound like warped rotor? pls help

hi all:
I have already read thru the TSB and I dun know how long have I had this problem. This is what I noticed:

1.high speed - above 100, medium braking, the steering wheel was shaking and this problem does not happen all the time. And the brake pedal was not shaking.

2.mid speed - around 60 - 80, hard braking (ABS didnt kick in), again steering wheel shakes, not as often as that in high speed. And the brake pedal was not shaking at all.

3.low speed - above 50, below 60. Really hard braking. nothing was shaking.

4.really slow - right below 50. light braking...steering wheel was shaking and rarely happened (maybe only 1 - 2 times so far) And again, pedal was not shaking.

It was really hard to notice the steering wheel was shaking, on less I hold it with one hand or without holding it at all.

few causes that I can think of:
1.high tire pressure - I pump it to 35 lb all around, is it possible that the road was not smooth enough and the tires are too hard?

2.suspension mod? I have the usual stuff, RSB, FSTB (and the torque reading is right on FSTB)

thx for ur help

Sounds like you have a very light amount of warping in the rotors.. made noticible when the rotors heat up.

I don't know how many miles you have on them.. but mine warped at 11k then 22k .. and now I'm going to get a nice set of aftermarket.

Check the tire pressure spec (should be on a sticket in the center console... if you have too high/low pressure you will get poor tire wear along with poor handling.

I have 23k

hi, thanks for ur help and my odo is 23k. I am just wondering, would my rotors get further damaged if I contiune driving it? I doubt the dealer is able to detect such minor problem and I know if it is not broken, I shouldnt fix it.

and btw, as I reead the TSB...it stated that one of the symptoms of warped rotor would be pedal "pulsation".....do u know what does that mean?

thx again

All four rotors on my wife's car were warped at 40K and she never experienced pedal "pulsation" . . . just steering wheel vibration at high speeds when the brakes were applied.
