Two performance springs brands...

Everyone!

What are your feelings about Eibach vs. H&R springs for the 02 Max? Does either have a quality/performance edge? Are they about the same?

Quality, they are both really good.
The main difference is: Eibach 1.3 Front drop
1.0 Rear drop

H&R 1.4 Front drop
1.3 Rear drop

Hope this helps....

Cool. What is the likelyhood of rear tire rub with the Eibachs and no other lowering equipment when I carry passengers if I keep 17 standard rolling stock or plus 1 size at the same overall diameter???

Also Eibach are better for performance and H&R is closer to stock.

...You mean that even though the drop is lower with H&R's they handle the bumps more like the stock springs than the Eibachs do? That surprises me that they would drop lower and still have a less harsh ride...

yep, Eibach's only drop the car as much as needed. H&R is more like stock with a slightly greater drop.

If I was going for the best I would have bought Eibach, but didn't want that harsh a ride. Personally I went with Maxspeed, similar to H&R at half the price ($85 in group deal)
