Better Sounding Horn

Has anybody replaced their puny stock horn with an air horn. I would like to find one that has the high-pitched trumpet sound like Ferraris and other exotic cars do.

I would be interested too, but I would also want to keep my stock horn and have the air horn work off a remote switch. That way I can send a soft beep at appropriate times and a sharp blast at the A*$h*les that won't get out of my way.

I can't believe this thread got buried after only 2 people responded.
With all the mods that have been done nobody has upgraded to a decent horn? Suggestions? Sound files would be awesome if anybody has them!

I have the Hella dual air horn kit on my 4th gen and it's awesome. Nice high pitch dual tone horn. The kit I have uses the FIAM horns, which are actually the same horns that come with the airhorn sets you can pick up at Autozone for like half the price. If you go the autozone route, just be careful because I saw a high set and a low set (not sure what the low set sounds like). I don't use my stock horns, though, so I don't know about the switch. I saw a write up about someone installing them and mounting them behind the fog lights. I ended up just welding some brackets together, and mounting them behind my grille (firing down) and just screwed the brackets into the pre-threaded holes on the brace. Very simple install for those wanting to try - just remember to use the relay

Re: Better Sounding Horn

I only have the 140db high/low set. Didn't like the "delay"
of the airhorns I listened to at the parts store. ($.02)
