I like the other style grill

both can be viewed at customaxima.com. Unfortunately you have to cut your grill with a hacksaw to install the upper portion. I plan on installing the lower valance only.

I just wonder why TRENZ didn't talk to US BEFORE they made the final version. I mean if I had the huge interest of this board to use as a guide to what style would be popular, I would have posted 2-3 different styles and asked which was the favorite. I know probably everyone wouldn't be able to agree on one, but hell I'd bet NOBODY would have voted on that FUGLY thing.

If they would have posted that material in RAW form I think most of us would have told them to not bother.

TRENZ needs to wake-up and pick something simpler with fewer and larger slats/bars, kinda of like a mini version of the ones I always see on Chevy's, but in brushed, chrome, and one in an unfinished paintable material.

Maybe if we PhotoCHOP one on our car and send it to them they will make something different for the 2K-2K1(sorry 2K2), since the grill will be different anyways. MaximaZero?

Auuuugh, no. Maybe, sorta.

That's somewhat better. I like the fewer horizontal lines, but not the border or center "point".

Clean and simple, like a Chevy's billet grill, but not so beefy. No fancy borders and not designs. Just clean and simple.

I just don't know if it's doable withOUT cutting out the stock grill.

I'd love to see how ugly this grille really is, but I still can't FIND it on custommaxima.com!!! Where is it listed? I've looked under ":Exterior Styling" for the 2000-2001 section!

I can't afford the mesh grill from CustomMaxima.com right now and the TRENZ grill looks bad on a car, but for an SUV, I think it looks great.

I guess its time to get some expandable metal and the tools out from dads tool box and see if I can make my own grill.

In fact, that sounds like a good idea. Be back to post results and pictures in a few days.
