well, thats not too crazy, except here is where i get confused.
i went to the track and i ran a 9.9 (bleh) he ran a 9.3, but heres the weird part, his trap speed is 76 and mine was 73. somethings not right, 3 mph doesnt equal .6 seconds.

I'll put it into perspective for you using my own personal times which I have in a spreadsheet.
When I was stock I was running consistent 9.6@73.5 1/8th miles which translate into 14.8-14.9 @ 93. I had a few 9.5s in there as well.
When I had just a y-pipe I was running 9.3-9.4 @ 76 1/8th which equals 14.4-14.6 @ 96 in the 1/4 mile.
Now since you are running 9.9s, you are not getting very good launches, but you have good power, as you can see you trap about the same as I did when I was stock. What I'm basically saying is that your car is capable of 9.6 or 9.5 1/8th mile times if you get the launches down.
His times indicate he is getting launches about as well as I typically do (which sucks for him since he is in a RWD car with so much more power). His car should be capable of 9.0s with a good launch. So there is nothing wrong with the numbers you gave, they just indicate that BOTH cars are not launching to their full potential.
