I just recently bought a '96 black maxima. I was just curious, i am definately getting altezzas on it, so out of carbon fiber, chrome and black chrome, which would probably look the best on a black maxima?

 

Go for red/clear tails.

 

Im not a fan of altezza's, but to each their own. On a black max I like the way the black chrome look.

I have a '95 black emerald Max and its a shame that we were only limited to the Alteeza tails, for that the red/clears were very hard to come by, let alone too complicated to match the red on the outer tails. I bought the chrome Alteezas look for mine, but IMHO they seem to stand out more. Actually, they look almost like two big eyeballs staring at you! I got rid of them for that reason. Now, that the black chrome and carbon fiber ones are available, I may consider on buying a pair. To me, I think the chrome ones look better on a white Max. But, to each his own.

 

Avoid chrome. If anything test out the black chromw.
