aftermarket alarm LED status mod

Anybody out there with an aftermarket alarm that has its LED status light flashing somewhere else other than the dash? I seen one car with its LED flashing in a headlight. I thought this was cool. I was wondering if anybody else had something similar mounted in other places.

This may sound pretty stupid but i was driving a friends VW beetle today *shudder* (a bit small) and it has flashing lights in the lock button up by the windows. It looked pretty tight from the outside.

i know it sounds boring but i hooked mine up to my factory led when i installed my remote start unit. i'm a stereo installer, so creativity gets cut short by the end of the day when i work on my car. plus, i'm goin for the basic as possible look with all my electronix. i find that using factory options in new ways adds a really clean look to a vehicle.

i'm not 4th gen but...
i've installed LED's in the A pillars, LED's in the doors,
center console, anywhere you can possibly think of
in the car... i heard it's illegal to put lights anywhere
besides the interior of the car...
headlights/tailights are illegal
so is wiring up the LED's to light up the bottom of the car

I have a LED built inside my 3rd brake light. Very visible from every angle.

I've seen quite a few beamers lately that have them on the back of the rear-view mirror.
