ATTN: 4x4 '97-'99 Maxima SE's...

I need any unlowered '97-'99 SE driver to do me a favor. Go outside to your Maxima with a tape measure. Take the tape measure and measure from the wheelwell down to the centercap of the wheel. Do this for each wheel and report back to me with the measurements.

Thanks,
-Nick

Rt rear- 15 1/4"
Rt front- 16 1/4"
Lt Front- 16"
Lt rear- 16"

My driveway is uneven though. I'll have to find a relatively flat area and measure it again.

..........

Would it be fair to say that stock ride height from the center of the wheels to the wheelwell is 16"?

I just measured mine and the front is 14" and the back is 13.5". So that means I'm lowered 2" in the front and 2.5" in the back.

Later,
-Nick

I would say that's a fair assumption. My cars suspension is completely stock for the time being. Can't wait to do the springs/struts and wheels/tires.
