Ground Control & AGX install/review/questions

This weekend I installed my Ground Controls and AGX's finailly. Install was pretty straight forward. The only problem I had was using that split sleve on the rear struts. For the life of me I could not get the GC colar over that sleve. How do you guys do it? I just used some extra o-rings that I had gotten from Home Depot.

The car looks great. I'll take pictures today and post them when I get home from work. I have about a 1.5~2 finger gap in front and a 1 finger gap in back. I just guessed at a height for the back and didn't adjust them after I put them on, but I think I'm going to raise the back of the car to match the front later this week.

The ride isn't bad at all. The car handles great, which was expected. It isn't to rough or bouncey on the road. I have the front struts set to 1 and the rears to 4, but I'm going to play with the settings this week to see what I like the best. The back is a little bouncy-er than I'd like, but I think that's just because its so low. If I raise is that half inch or so I think it will make a big difference.

I only had one noise, and that's a clunking sound from the drivers rear. I took the wheel off again, and everything looked fine, and then it seemed to go away on its own. These are the new-er GC's with the domed top hat, so that's not the source of the noise.

All in all, I'm very happy with both the GC's and AGX's.

Pictures to come later tonight.

I just installed mine this past saturday, same setup...

I didn't go as low as you but close, unless your fingers are fatter than mine...

I love it, no problems

I just spit on the o-rings on the back to get the sleeve over it, but hey, what ever works...

I spit, WD-40's, greased, and nothing worked. I think the sleve was too thick for the strut or something. maybe I got the wrong sleves. How thick should they be? Mine was like a 1/4".

That split sleeve is too thick. I just wrapped the strut in some weird plastic tape I had until it fit nice and snug.
