NO! Why!? (semi-rant)

I'm starting to think this car is friggin' cursed or something. I've had it for NINE days now (I thought it was twelve earlier, but I just remember I only got it last Tuesday) and just a few days ago the entire passenger side front fender was torn apart avoiding an accident with one of my moronic friends. And NOW an idiotic kid who lives next door to me just put a massive dent in the driver side door with a damn ball! Argh...

This must be god's revenge on me for buying a used car that didn't have a single scratch or dent.

Re: NO! Why!? (semi-rant)

Sorry man. I had my 2K2 for less than a week and I was driving by a High School. Well, wouldn't ya know I hear a thunk, look out the driver's side window and see a softball rolling in the street.

I wasn't too happy. Pulled over and looked at the side of my car for 10 minutes... whew, no damage... still don't know what it hit. Can cars have guardian angels?

I've almost been hit by several stupid drivers...

Sometimes I feel like I'm driving a target.

Sorry to hear this kind of stuff.

1. You should smack your friend right upside the head for pulling that stupid stunt.

2. Talk to the boy's parents about the dent if it is significant and resolve the visual damage.

I did. Multiple times.

Did that too (and the damage is pretty significant, they're paying), but in the end that only ****ed me off more. The kid's parents acted like I should've just ignored it and walked away. Had it clearly been an accident I would have, but...

This particular kid's house a good distance from mine (both his house and mine share a private driveway/mini-road and our houses are seperated by pretty big fields), but they make it a point to play near where I park my cars. Their parents teach them absolutely no respect for other people's property. This same kid put a pretty big dent in my Integra's front bumper a year ago with his bicycle, too (I let that one go, I dunno why).

Sigh... oh, well.
