got progress springs on...pics.....

these are the progress technology springs from pmp designs. they go for 130, got them for around 150 something shipped. there has been mixed reviews about these so let me give my detailed report. after we installed them, we took it out on a straight away that was pritty bad. the thing was that it was taking the bumps like the stock suspension but with a little more control, defintly not anywhere near harsh, almost exactly stock. we had our worries thinking they are too soft like everyone said. then a very tight bend was coming up and was perfect for us to try out the springs, i whipped it around the bend making sure to accelerate so there would be understeer....no understeer, actually the back tires were sqealing because they were whipping around the bend perfectly, there was no understeer whatsoever, a smile went on my face.... we took every turn just a lil more crazier, there was little if any body roll and never had any kind of understeer whatsoever. these things are riding on stock se struts that have 70k on them. it looks really good, feels really good and handles great, im getting a strut bar, then a addco sway bar, then the agx's, im sure it will be sweet if this is how its doing with only springs, i HIGHLY reccomend these springs. this car is my daily driver so i dont want pure performance harsh springs with a huge drop, but i hate soft rides, i mean i took this on bad roads, windy roads, a 1 hour drive back from the shop on a crappy highway and have NO complaints whatsoever, im a very picky person so i would say anything that is negative, even the smallest. no complains, feel free to ask any questions you have. here is a link to my cardomain pics, i will try to get better pics at my house for these dont do the drop any justice since its gravel and the sun is right on it, but go for it, im pritty sure page 6 is stock height, and page 7 is after the drop, tomorrow i will take rilly good pics, leave any suggestions of where you want me to take pics from... sorry for the long post, have a good day.

remember something...nothing you say makes sense, whatever you say is just something to post *****, what mods do you have again? what do u know about anything? yea. i accept constructive comments from anyone, but from you, it is purely said just to hvae another post count, so please, no more posting on this thread, you look dumb enuff as it is. when you get ground controls and have your "2.2" inch drop all around, then say something, otherwise, you just annoy everyone.

the maxspeed drop didnt look that great to me... i havent rilly seen the greatest pics though so i cant rilly tell. im so pleased with these and im so picky so id say these. i mean cmon, im riding on stock wheels, stock shocks, no strut or sway bar and the car is nite and day, it can only get better from here. of course im coming from an SE suspension which are a little bit stiffer then gle and gxe so to others it might seem stiff or something, but to me its stock ride except for turns.

Right now my ride is pretty mushy on my stock GLE suspension. It gets kind of annoying when i go over small humps in the road. Do you know when the deal is going to end over at pmp desings? Oh and would you be able to measure the distance from the ground to the centre of the wheel arc? I'm just curious.

id say ask them, i dont think its a special deal, i think they are doin it for a while.... yea i could do that, but i didnt measure before hand so i guess you could compare it with urs, plus i just put them on yesterday so im sure they havent completely settled, but ill measure and take more pics. im not sure if you would want to put these on ur stock shocks seein that GLE's are heavier and have softer struts/shocks if i remember correctly, i shouldnt of done this either, but dont have money for agx's and needed to drop, we'll see how long they go fore, but it rides beautiful. im gettin a strut bar then sway bar, then savin up for agx's so they should be on by summer.

so the drop is 1.7 / 1.5 front/back? that's pretty good.. I would like to get springs eventually, I was thinking about the H&Rs at 1st but they don't seem low enough to me.. B&Gs are just about right, but they are hard to find and they cost like 250$ I heard? These seem good, if the ride is soft.. But, after all, I rode in 190hpKilla's car with 2.0 Sprints and KYB AGXs and we did this around pothole plagued NYC streets, it really isn't too bad, a little bouncy over bumps but it's bearable..
