Because it's no fun dealing with rusted on bolts. Let us know how the install goes.

And if you do it yourself, get a torch and a breaker bar cause it is not easy.

I got mine installed by Budget Exhaust, cost of pipe and installation $170 for T-304 Stainless. It took them about an hour and they had to heat up all of the nuts individually (manifold & Cat flanges) with a torch to get them to come off. Most of the time was spent on removal, I don't think I would attempt it without a torch unless your car is fairly new. If you break one of those manifold studs off you are *&#$%. They also welded on an EGT nut and put the sensor on for me, no extra charge.

Maybe that includes the pipe? I dunno. $180 seems like waaaaay too much for just the install.

hmm...40 bux or so doesnt sound bad...rather get it installed...cuz i aint got no good jack, stands, lift, anything like that, or no torch...and if i bought this, id prolly end up paying the same as gettin it installed, im a man so i aint gonna complain like some of these lil girls in here about gettin dirty and gettin sum cuts on my hands, i do a good enough of my work on my own nowadays, but i dunno bout the Y pipe...imma put my CAI in myself..but just wondering, anyone know any specific shops in NYC dat they got it done at, for like 40 or so, so theyknow wut theyre doing already having worked on a maxima instead only knowing how to work on civics

I paid $6.00 to use the Hobby shop lift. If you have patience you can do it yourself, is not a hard thing to install, the hardest part is getting to the two nuts above the stock Cat, in the middle section of the car but a extension, universal joint and some type of WD40 will solve the problem

There was no way my bolts were coming loose. I gave Lou's Custom Exhaust $50 and they did the job in 20 minutes. Money well spent.

this is what is all about, doing your own labor is not hard at all!!! and you have folks posting how much money do we make? this is the only way to do it, I saved so much money especially installing my own supercharger, suspension, and brakes. I forgot to post I paid $403 for my Ypipe!!!!thats high price to pay if you ask me I should have purchased the Stillen Y pipe and is a two piece pipe.
