Lots of past clunk stories - any help there?

Upper mount is two pieces sandwiched together. They come apart after loosening the piston nut? Might be your bearing inside. Under that is a insulator, then the rubber spring seat. That might be the problem too. (Haynes pg 10-5,6)

I've got 2 extra mounts but none of the internal hardware which is probably part of your problem.
