Newbie in '97, Newbie again

Back in '97, I was a newbie to this board, and learned much. Back in Harvard/Grendel days, when the FSTB were new, Addco and Stillen RSB were the hottest new performance addon, when clear corners didn't exist, in the bickering BBS days, when Wizeguy was always there for quick wit, before Maxus '98 in Dallas, back when we walked 5 miles to school . . .in the snow . . . uphill both ways . . . etc, etc, etc

So I 'fixed' up my '96 SE with the then latest-and-greatest: FSTB,RSTB,RSB,clearcorners,Eibachs then H&R's,PIAA SuperWhites(then a steal at $59.99 ea), 17-in wheels with 235/45/17 (HUGE size at that time).

Now my teenage son has my 'old' Max, and he & I are in need of the new info on things. New MaxFaqs and general info like:
What exactly are diamond-cut clear, compared to my "old' clears?
Do '97+ taillight housing fit into '95/'96 trunks/fenders without modification?
Anyone have the 'old' MaxFaqs on converting fogs from low-beam-only operation to parking-light operation?

Your kindness, patience, and information to this old BBS lurker (back then I was MAX2NV, my license plate), and my son - MiniMax - is greatly appreciated.

As you may have noticed, there is something else new from you original days. Or maybe it's been there all along.

It's called "Search". It's a wonderful thing.

Everything you need is here if you look for it.

But I will try and answer as best I can:

The Diamond Corners are clearer and prismed as compared to regular clears. The general consensus is that they are much better.

97+ taillights will not fit into the 95-96 without major modificaiton.

The foglight rewire is easy to do and is on the "HOW2" section of Maximadriver.com, I believe.
