Have you sold your stock SE rims? How easy was it?

Just curious...as the weather gets better, I am thinking of getting some 17s and thought -- what the hell am I gonna do with my 97 SE rims? Sell 'em!

How easy was it to sell? Anyone practically give 'em away?
And, yes, i will get winter rims...

I just can't justify the price and I'm hoping selling my rims will offset the cost of the new ones...

all thoughts/comments appreciated!

I'm in a similar position...I want to see how I might be able to sell off my 97 GLE sawblade wheels...then maybe i would be able to get some 17s...so I guess my question is on the same lines as yours...how do I get the most money out of my rims?

I'll take em'!!!!

Hey guys, if you have the 15" 7 spoke SE Rims for sale, drop me a line. One of my SE rims is slightly warped and I'm looking for one, maybe two, and maybe a set if cheap enough. I need one soon before I ruin my new Potenza RE950's! Remember guys, these SE's have room for a full size spare in the back, they just don't come with it like the GLE's.

uhmm...i don't think there is room for a full-size spare is there?...i think it is wide enough, but not deep enough...but i haven't really tried...and if i'm not mistaken, unless i was imagining things, even the GLEs don't come with a full-size spare...i believe mine is the donut-spare...but i haven't looked in a long time and my memory could be fading

Yep it'll fit.
I've got a full size 5 spoke SE rim and tire in my trunk.

If anybody's serious about getting rid of 15" rims in good condition, let me know how much they want for them. Hubcaps suck.

Thanks
