Anyone with G-Force or JWT ECU--please read and respond! Thank-you!

Ok, I need some honest opinions. Who has done the ECU upgrade on a 4th gen? What does everyone think of G-Force vs. JWT? Is it true that G-Force is out of business now? I know they became UPRD, but is their upgrade the same as earlier, or different? I would prefer people who actually have experienced one or the other, but reliable second-hand info is great too. I can't decide which to get, if either. I heard a rumor that G-Force ECU's blew some motors, any truth to that? Thanks in advance!

Yes, from what I have heard the JWT ECU is the way to go. They are completely customized, so it is wisest to be done as a final modification. UPRD because G-Force, and from what I've heard their ECUs are absolutely no improvment over stock. Waste of money. But seach, I know this topic has been discussed many times.

I have a JWT ECU on a 95 auto, and I can definately feel an increase in power. I also have an intake and a y-pipe. If I stomp the gas between 25-30 mph, I can spin the tires. Occasionally, I can chirp 2nd gear. Overall, I think that it is well worth the $$$.

G-force does have measureable gains. 5hp-15hp. Even a non tuned '96 chip on my '97 showed +5hp. Your '95 will show better. My dyno chart is on my homepage.

I've got the JWT ECU.

It's definitely worth the money. I contemplated the UPRD/G-Force one, but there just too much controversy about it. JWT seems a little more stable and has a reputation to back up their product. I plan on gettting the NOS program and the 65 shot kit they offer before too long. I'm not knocking G-Force or anything, but you don't have near the arguements about the JWT ECU as to whether it works or not.

Go to www.cattmanperformance.com . I got mine through them and they were great to work with. JWT was really backed up when I sent mine in, but the people at Cattman always kept me posted. Also the site has a break-down of the prices for the N/A program and the N/A+NOS program. More in-depth discussion of the N/A+NOS can be found at www.jimwolftechnology.com.
