New 4th Gen Owner

I just bought a 97 White on Grey Cloth Max SE with 54,000 miles, automatic from my favorite Nissan dealer. Before that, I was riding my 1988 Nissan Maxima SE, which I did the usual mods and upgrades before hitting the roof on what I could buy and do to that car.

Just looking for the usual upgrades like body kit, a nice front end wire grille, altezza lights, clear corners, anything nice that could add to what is an exceptional stock car. There is a plethora of links, but I don't want to start buying off the bat w/o some background on what works, what sucks, etc etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance.

i personally think the first thing that needs to be done to a stock 4th gen max is, it needs to be dropped, the wheel gap is just too damn ugly.

you can get some KYB AGX shocks for around $350 and some springs for $100 - 150, and then install them yourself. if that's too expensive, i'd recommend getting some diamond cut clear corners, they really make the car looks nicer.

on the other hand, if you're more into performance, a good place to start is with an intake or ypipe, a combination of both will give you around 15-20 hp.

welcome to the forum and happy modding
