Maxima Remote

I need another remote for my maxima, is it hard to program it, i see it on e-bay. is it worth is, whats the info on that. also is there keyless entry on it or no?

what do you mean trim level? i have a gxe, 5 speed and was wondering if it was hard to reprogram the new remote and if it has keyless entry. my old one i got when i bought the car didnt work so i have no clue how it works.

IF your car can handle the remote, the reprogramming procedure is here:

Not all GXEs have the hardware to use a remote, but yours probably does since you originally got one.

Does IT have keyless entry? Of course it does... you see the big gray button on top with a "lock" on it? And the smaller button on the left that has an "unlock"? That is keyless entry. What exactly do you think those buttons are for?

Does your car have a receiver/security module and relays to activate the door locks? I haven't a clue.

I bought my Max used in Jan. I got a new remote because they were short one. It took only 2 weeks to look the hellish looking one that was 4 yrs old and came with the car. I wouldn't feel to bad about your remote.
