Not really but you need 2 people to do it. And sometimes the trunk does'nt sit exactly right but hardly noticable.

Sure, I'll take some pics this weekend. I must worn you though, we originally installed the hinges by screwing them in but we later decided to weld them.

That's pretty sweet. Think you can write up some detailed instructions if you get some time. I would really appreciate it, and I'm sure others would too. Thanks

Pretty unique. I'm willing to bet you'll get a lot of stares in store parking lots when you're dropping stuff in there.

Good job.

looked really chincy from the directions, so i didnt do it. how does it feel? do you have any issues when you close the trunk? does it provide any benefits (can you get more stuff in the trunk now?)

looks real kool - but i bet its wobbly when its in the open position, btw- when you go to close your trunk, do you have to manuver it to go back to the original spot, or will it just close with a lil push?

You know what would be reallly cool? If it would open like that automaticly? Hook a little motor up to it or somthing so you push the button on the key FOB and it opens up. That would be too cool.

Yeah, its a little chincy, and not that stable but it looks really cool. It would be sick if it would open like Nick said. The're aren't really any benifits other than the look. I really wasn't too sure how it would come out (thats why I used my friends car as a test dummy) but he is pleased.
