whoa mama that thing is loud. job took less than an hour, works great. i am somewhat worried about the construction though, it looks clean, but is it gonna hold. The only problem that i ran into was i bought a nipple that was too small in length so i couldnt get the hose to attatch. Solution, well the hole was already a bit small for the nipple, so i just forced the heater hose through it, funny thing is that i feel way more comfortable with it like that. I mean its a good fit, it took 2 guys and needle nose pliars to make that miracle happen.
Ya, I'm enjoying mine too. My suggestion is, get some rubber cement used for tire patches and put a bead around the heater hose on the inside and outside to help make sure it soesnt slip out. And ya, as far as the sound, I get nothing but looks from peopl. I hope its a good kind of look, and not the look we give the Honduh owners!

One thing I did differently, is pick up a 1/2" threaded to 5/8" Barb adapter. It has a shoulder on the Barb side which allows you to screw it into the rubber 3" coupling, and it allows you to counter tighten the nut to something (I used a conduit lock nut.) Besides, it also gives you a lot more room to clamp the heater hose to... Please, please if you do this mod, use liquid thread lock on the lock nut.
As a side note, while this is a cheap mod, I plan on replacing it with a PR upper intake when funds become more available. I think I would sleep better at night assured that something won't come apart and enter the throttle body by accident... Just my 2 Cents worth...
