What do u guys think? NOS ECU Package

In my quest for speed, I have come across many options for my max. This one by cattman and jim wolf seems interesting. It's a NOS and ECU kit. 65 shot of NOS (10lb bottle) and an ECU that maximizes performance when NoS is off and when it's on. Here is the link: http://www.cattman.com/nos.shtml
I've heard people talk about the supercharger and a custom turbo kit but noone really has said anything about this kit
What do u think of this option? Does anyone have this kit or know of anyone who purchased it? Is this worth an investment?

Here is another link that better explains how the kit works:

Cattman/JWT only sell quality stuff. But if you are 97+ (as your name implies) you are probably out of luck. Most of the ECU mods available from JWT are for 96- years. In any case, I would probably not trust any "fly-by-wire" NOS devices (no matter who makes it) it just gives more problems more often than not. NOS is simple enough to control and monitor. Just make sure you get the gauges! EGT is by far the most important! Get a good one!

If you have $1500 to spend then go ahead. The JWT nitrous kit is very simple (only one solenoid and one jet) but very efficient used in conjunction with the nitrous programmed ECU (which is required). There is no need to tune fuel jets or anything of the sort since everything is programmed into the ECU. I recently saw a 240 with the JWT nitrous kit dyno...A/F ratio was around 12.5 and VERY CONSTANT - like a straight line almost.

In addition, look forward to spending additional $$$ for accessories and gauges.

However, you have a 97, right? The JWT ECU is for 95-96 (so you may be out of luck unless there's some way it'll work for 97 and up, too).

Brian Catts has the kit on his '97, but he has a really good relationship with JWT, so I'm not sure what kind of custom work they did for him.

check out the maximadriver.com site. There was a group deal for a new ECU and there is a write up about using a different year ECU. I can't remember the details but maybe it'll help you out. I'm lookin into NOS too, so I've jumped into this thread. I am considering the NOS or NOS EX kit. I think regardless of which ever system I get, in the end (counting all bottle fill ups over time) I'll have spent as much as the SC???
